About This Project

Although this project is from a few years ago, it is still a fantastic example of how our bespoke glazing services can be used for more than just windows and conservatories!

Our experts in double glazing in Harpenden worked with this client to design and install an internal aluminium sliding pocket door completely bespoke to their home. When the door is opened, it slides behind the kitchen larder, allowing for a seamless opening to the dining space and creating the illusion of a larger, open-plan ground floor. Unlike a conventional door, it will not block off the kitchen diner or consume space when opened, creating the perfect space-saving solution.

As the client wanted a modern and stylish feel to their room, we opted for sleek black frames, which beautifully complemented the rest of the client’s contemporary interior design. We were pleased to hear that they were over the moon with their installation – it really does complete the hallway!
